Aston Villa have posted an update on the injury situation ahead of our match v Sunderland fc on Tuesday night.

It was announced last week that Albert Adomah was back fit and in contention for the then snow delayed showdown v QPR. To be fair, that`s given him a few more days to get even fitter has it not?

As for the rest.

Jack Grealish and Alan Hutton are still doubts and will be assessed before the game.

On loan (from Manchester United in case you didn`t know!) defender Axel Tuanzebe has recovered and so is in contention.

Steve Bruce says Hutton is ‘the biggest doubt’ on the official twitter account.

Would you risk Grealish or give him a bit more time to get fully fit, hopefully for our big game v Wolves at the weekend?

  • No. If fit I would give him an hour tomorrow.

That would put him spot on for Saturday then.

  • Just all depends how fit he is, how close he is to being fit/not fit really. If he’s even a slight doubt, give him more time I think!

  • If he’s fully fit then there is no reason why he shouldn’t be good to go, if he’ still not 100% save him for Saturday. Wolf, I guess you chose not to see the dig to the ribs that Coady gave Jack at the same time.

  • Agree with Sir Dennis.

Unless he is touch and go (in which case, leave him out altogether), he could do with an hour or so to get help fitness.

I have a feeling Sunderland will park the bus (or do a Chelsea, as it should be renamed after yesterday

  • Welcome to the Vital VILLA page, johnwolf. You obviously have way too much time on your hands if you’re trolling on a fans’ forum for a local rival.

  • Depending how ‘close’ he is. Either give him an hour, if he’s not that ‘close’, give him the last 20 minutes. I’d prefer him to have some match play before Saturday if possible.

  • Mr wolf luckily you will not be playing us next year. But one thing we both got in common is American businessmen have dented our clubs big time..

  • We should play our strongest team for every match because the 3 points available is important at this time in the season.

  • We have to play our strongest team Cardiff will win tonight we can’t afford to slip further behind
