Signing £1.8m-rated ace would address weak spot and add to Smith’s philosophy in one hit

|

There are bound to be several twists and turns in the coming weeks as the race for the top six spots reaches its crescendo in the next month or so.

It’s going to be fun watching Villa go about it, too, as things appear to have finally clicked with the likes of Tyrone Mings, Jack Grealish and John McGinn all key players.

One area we need to improve for next season regardless of division, though, is at full-back and one player that we should consider to do that is Lloyd Kelly.

Kelly is a young defender at Bristol City – rated at £1.8m – and he has enjoyed a decent campaign this season at the Robins.

He is highly thought of and embodies that modern full-back role well with the way he gets up and down the pitch.

Certainly, our full-back areas lack that mobility to be honest and in an attacking Dean Smith side, it seems a fallacy to not have threat all over the pitch.

Sign Kelly, and Smith’s attacking philosophy only gets stronger here.
