I’m not really sure you can call this news, but we all get a little bit desperate during pointless international breaks and the October lull is certainly no different. Having gone into the break with a fantastic 5-1 victory over Norwich City at Carrow Road, with plenty of positives coming from Wesley’s brace, and further goals from Jack Grealish, Conor Hourihane and Douglas Luiz, first team coach John Terry decided to give the fans a bit of a laugh.

There are a fair few things wrong with the modern game, and the multitude of multi-coloured boots and designs is certainly one of them, and although Terry has now long hung up his boots as he focuses on his career curve ahead, it appears in training this week, that he couldn’t resist the lure of a white pair as he trotted the Bodymoor turf.

Not exactly traditional and it seems to be quite clear what head coach Dean Smith thinks of his choice.

A few more 5-1 wins and I’m sure nobody will care.
