  • Alec – I have always wondered why people leave early. If you pays your money it’s like short changing yourself. There were plenty of poor performances the year we won the league – we won the league though and thats the mark of a good team – gettiing points when your not playing well – to all those that dissappeared – thats football find a bridge and get over it.

  • We won, and we won comfortably. Defended soundly, looked dangerous up front. Thought John Carew played well until he left the arena with what looked like a nasty long term injury. O.K., he’s being hammered for not scoring enough goals, but as a target man he has few equals. Atmosphere great, but agree about these ‘supporters’ who decide to leave ten minutes or so before the end. Why? Didn’t like the argy-bargy between Gabby and Marlon at the end. Other players had to step in to cool it down, but for a minute I thought we were in for an unsavoury moment. Sort it out lads.

  • Greed is a terrible thing but when a player wants to kick start his club career and feels he has been denied its only right he will get the hump…… They will sort it out.
