  • I accept that opinions can vary and note some comments on this site that criticism of SB is
    out of order.
I accept that, perhaps, playing and watching football ( and supporting Villa for 60 years ) still
makes me an amateur whilst SB is a professional

  • And I forgot – I accept that maybe it is because I am an amateur that I fail to understand the
logic of having two right full backs in the starting 11 and ( at least ) another two on the bench !

  • And my apologies, I also forgot to congratulate our dynamic duo Bruce & Calderwood on
managing to get yet another shot on goal. Keep up the good work gents you may manage
to hit 50 before the end of the season.

  • Glad to be out of it to be honest. It’s a great platform for some our youth to be getting more experience but a cup is not what our priority should be this season. I’m more concerned with the result on Saturday than I am with last night.

  • Agree with all of the above. Felt our tradition with the competition was finally squashed last night – first winners, 5 time winners, our great performances and attendances, particularly in the 70’s and 90’s – now all seem so hollow. And I totally accept

  • 1500 more at Wolves than VP GP&U, that is the point I tried to make in a previous post. Whilst I accept that the League Cup is no longer a major competition, 11000 at Villa really worries me. I believe it is because of the style ( or lack of ) of foot

  • See my previous. Perhaps we could be the first winners of the Premium League?!? Bugger that predicting thingy……………

  • Must agree with Skeptica in that promotion is our only objective this season. I can agree that putting out our younger players in the League Cup is a chance for them to play and show SB what they can do, but surely SB attends the reserve games anyway (or

  • The big teams take every game seriously and have that winning mentality. SB, consistently harps on about how big of a club we are…. why not act like it mate. Out. Pathetic.
