  • Inspired sub, Samuel was having a shocker. DOL would have kept him on. Whittingham stuck the only decent cross in. Good to see us up the league even at this stage.

  • Was nice to see a Villa manager actually standing on the sidelines and not hiding in the back of the dug out. His honest post-match interviews are a breath of fresh air too

  • Couldn’t get to the game coz working in Cambridge, but watched Soccer night on Sky and MOTD. Sounded like we were very lucky to get all 3 points and the sending off was very dubious. Nice to have a bit of luck tho.

  • Red card was a little harsh, it looked more of a clumsy challenge than anything malicious. It definitely changed the course of the game, them down to ten, and having to take the livewire Lita off. This was definitely a game we’d have lost last season, par
