  • One for the Memory Banks…….. I hate working week ends….. The rest of the family were there (small comfort) Before anyone states it was a very poor Sheff Utd team could I point out it was a very GOOD Villa Team.

  • WOW..!! I “actually” enjoyed watching Villa today.I was even impressed with Gabriel “headless chicken” Agbonlahor & i cant say that too often…!!Dropping kick & rush for Berger is the best substitution MON has made this season. The early season tactic of hoofing it 80 yds up the pitch for Sutton to scrap for had telly”s being turned off up & down the country.Today was soooooo much better….!!COYS (but yeah i agree that the Blades stank!)

  • I thought Bouma had a very good game as well. For a big fella, he gets forward quite well.

  • Probably our worst performance of the season yesterday but you did play well and should have won by more. A consolation goal could have made all the difference to us but we couldn’t even muster that 🙁

  • Now thats what I call a thrashing. They were completely outclassed. Full credit to Warnock though. He admitted as much.

  • Glennsider-Thats what gets Warnock into trouble. He says what he thinks & calls it how he see”s it & if they dont like it then tough…I admire his sometimes brutal honesty & frankness. Most managers live in a dream world of PR & spin……Warnock is too Old Skool for all that zhit.

  • I think Warnock is quality myself, He likes to get on with the job in hand and if he doesn’t like something he will say so. This is the reason so many other managers don’t like him, he is right about one thing, the way he talks is just like a Yorkshire version of Mourinho. Top man especially the way he made a point of saying how good Villa were and he still managed to say something about his own team at the end. Great management that is.

  • What a fantastic day all round. The pre-match celebrations were great, the scarf waving was an awesome sight, but the performance was the icing on the cake! Roll on next season!

  • Could Saturday have been any better? I think they would have beaten anybody on the day. Good luck to Sheff utd, their fans were great and Warnock was brutally honest with his interview.

  • My best day at Villa Park since Tranmere semi in ’94. Awesome atmosphere. Superb scarf waving. Tremendous team performance. Well done Villa from top to bottom – RL, RF, MON et al. It really did feel like a new dawn. The scarves were a masterstroke. Hope to see everyone back with them next year. Great to see ALL 4 sides of the ground celebrating. Lets make VP the sell out fortress it should be EVERY game in 07-08. Bring it on!!!
