  • Look what happens when we go back to a team that started the season (well nearly) Please lern from this result MON and use the players that you have got ! to the best of there ability and were they like to play at there best.

  • yes GB took the pen, he didn’t miss it was saved, heluva game, only managed to get to two away games all season this one and everton, what a result, Gab running straight over to the fans and throwing his top into the crowd, had this fat git behind me slagging him off all game, so happy he shut him up.

  • said on BRMB that Barry took pen, said in all the stats and online that Petrov missed. On the forum people are disagreeing, so will have to watch the highlights! I thought it was strange for Tom Ross to get it wrong though.

  • Well played Villa, the better team won. You are MORE than safe now. For our sakes we BETTER beat Chelsea next week or I’ll be livid at the thought we were putting all our eggs in that European basket! Certainly looked like it today!!!

  • Fulham now forgotten, that was a much better all round showing. Heroes one and all, Berger superb. Give the guy an additional one year deal? If he’s going to play like that, give him the freedom of Aston.

  • Great news great result had a quid on 14/1 for a 1-2 result so even more happy. Lets beat Wigan and put them down now.

  • Great shape to the team, all of them battled away for a result and you could see how much it meant to them at the end,MON has had a great week and his subs were spot on now lets beat Wigan.

  • Berger was a different class wasn’t he. The Fear had him as his man to watch and I didn’t disagree (hence using his image for Mr Fears’ interview.) I’ve always like Berger, showed real touches of class with his goal and pass for the second. If ONLY he could have stayed injury free for longer during his career he would be remembered as a truely GREAT footballer, not just the exceptional one he is.

  • good performance and great result today. Patrik Berger was superb but we all knew he was a quality player it was just a case of keeping him fit. Shaun Maloney was very impressive once again and should prove to be a shrewd buy by MON. It is clear that Gabby MUST play through the middle from now on that is where he is most dangerous and is always a threat, Ashley Young would be more effective than Gabby on the wing, i hope MON can now see this..? In the summer we need to be signing players of real quality that are going to improve the 1st eleven as it has been clear the past few seasons that alot of the 1st eleven are only good enough for premiership survival at best. Please MON lets start with signing probably one of the best wingers in europe at the moment Ricardo Quaresma of FC Porto.

  • berger was class, cheeky finish and sublime pass. he looked chuffed in the interview. shows what some ingenuity in the team can do.

  • Nice to see Gabby up front, he can learn a lot from JC. Shape looked much better than of late. Fair play to GB, he hasn’t missed many pens, though this one was saved and not missed. Seem to remember JPA missing 2 in the same game.
