  • Heard he made a few good tackles, interception and a key block but not really heard an overall verdict.

  • Not reading anything into the result but the fact that forest scored 3 suggests Lambert needs to find his first choice back four and get them into shape pretty quickl.

  • Aaaaaaarh! It’s ALL Bents fault, he should have passed to at least 20 players 100 times…;-)

  • Players fitness is always key in these games, i would prefer a 3-1 loss than wining 31 and gettng more injuries tbh, looking at that squad we must be honest and say we need at least 2 or 3 more experianced players if Lambert is to d anyhting this seaso.

  • nevermind, im sure lambert will sort it out, agreed we need a few more players, hopefully that will happen. was interesting to see chelsea and west ham lose by the same score, bad day for prem league teams lol

  • Forget about the disallowed goals, the records will show we only score one….. again! It is so obvious we need a quality striker, urgently. Come on PL, so far so good in the markets, lets not forget a striker pleaseeeeeeeeeeeee

  • Sorry to be negative but the youth will only ever take us forward as impact subs or good back up, we need more quality all round. Another experienced CB, a LB, a creative midfielder to replace Makoun (lets face it) and a STRIKER WHO SCORES please! Its clear as day we need more fire power

  • I’d rather keep Makoun medzy…What id El Ahmadi gets Injured, we would be back to last years poor midfield basically, he would be a good back up. I agree we need a creative deep Central midfielder, LB, CB and maybe a striker.

  • its so painfully obvious that we need an all around striker! we just dont have one! bent is good at feeding on scraps and facing the goal. but with his back to the goal he is terrible! we need an intelligent striker who can be our robbie keane! its clear as day!!!!

  • My choice for manager orchestrates a 3-1 win over the Champions Legaue winners on the same day we lose to a team from bottom half of the championship. Can’t help thinking we haven’t moved on since losing 2-0 to Derby in last year’s pre-season. Lot of work to do and quickly – come on Lambo, let’s get another decent defender and a forward in pronto.

  • onlyteaminthemids- with all due respect, thats complete rubbish. I get that its easy to get fearful about the coming season based on a pre-season defeat, but the comparison to this season and last is like night and day in terms of management, preparation and confidence from the players, manager and most of the fans. Plus, if this was the actual season I doubt we would see Chelsea losing to Brighton, or us losing to Forest for that matter. Poyet is a good manager, but I think Lambert is a better one, and that he will prove that to us all this season. Keep the faith, UTV

  • Hope you’re right Zig. My in-laws are all Forest fans and this has been a particularly painful week. Let’s hope it’s a one off.
