This is a good mature interview from Jack Grealish.
Super Jack was able to step out of the shadows a bit this weekend against Bolton and started to put an end product to his undoubted talent.

Moving on swiftly from hair envy, I think some fans forget just what a talent Jack is but also that he was massively overhyped before he was anywhere near the finished product.
We now might start to see him really take hold of his potential and also, contribute what he knows he needs to contribute ā assists and goals.

He says himself this was due, heād not had any assists or goals this season, now thanks to his 4th minute goal, he has.
What is positive is he nods to the coaching set up under Dean Smith and the understanding they are building already due to both being Villa fans.
āThe manager has been working hard on the training ground telling me what to do.ā
A simple sentence but it means so much. Iāve said a few times it was clear Jack was in need of coaching and wasnāt being utilised right. He has to provide the correct end ball and bring the team goals, for that he needs to be played correctly. Looks like, under Dean Smith, that is what is coming. Thatāll lead to a Happy Jack and a Happy Jack will lead to more goals and assists ā good Paul McGrath almighty, that might even lead to happy fans?!
Interviews like this are really helpful for fans to get a better understanding of players as well. He is clearly not, as some try to say, āUp himselfā and he knows himself that heās had a slow start to the season. He thinks he is getting there and with the support of the claret and blue faithful, instead of the ridiculous twitter slatings from some, along with proper coaching, we might well start to see the player that would be rated at Ā£30million and above. We might also see the player that helps push Villa back to the Premiership and give him absolutely no reason at all to need to leave Villa Park to progress his career.
2 mins in he talks about Dean Smith and says heās āLoving itā under the new boss.
Training pitch work that is paying off. I think Smith might just become a massive fan favourite.
And you can see what Jack is looking forward to the most right at the end of this interview.
Nice one Jack, look forward to seeing the winning goal from you v āthemā.
