Another very promising Aston Villa Academy graduate will now get a taste of real football as the club announced earlier today that youngster Arjan Raikhy will spend the remainder of the 2021/22 campaign out with National League side Stockport County.
Good luck at Stockport, @ArjanRaikhy20! π

It’ll be a good test for the 18-year-old midfielder following his involvement with our Under 18 and Under 23 groups, not just from a footballing front but also life outside of the Bodymoor bubble and a youngster coming through Premier League ranks.
Having more than played his part in helping us to lift the FA Youth Cup last season, he also made his senior bow against Liverpool in our FA Cup third round tie last year, and he could potentially be in line for his Stockport debut on Saturday as they open up their own campaign with a home game against Dagenham and Redbridge.

Good luck to the lad. I hope he gets plenty of game time, as he really has a engine and plenty of quality. Hopefully, competitive menβs football will help him continue to develop, as people think very highly of him at the Villa. UTV

He's class. Excellent passer of the ball and often outshined the rest of our team in the FA Youth Cup run last season.
