Before Aston Villa’s wheels fell off last summer with Boardroom issues coming to the fore, one name that seemed to be a semi-regular link was Blackburn Rovers’ Bradley Dack.
Vital Villa Summer Transfer Thread.
Most fans (maybe just me?) wouldn’t have minded seeing the 25-year-old at Villa Park given the way the attacking midfielder regular finds the back of the net and he has a decent assist record as well, but with Jack Grealish, John McGinn and Conor Hourihane and to a lesser degree, Henri Lansbury – I wondered where he might fit in, and his transfer fee was always a question.
The summer transfer rumour mill doesn’t need to bother with that sort of thing though and lo and behold the Sun have claimed an exclusive and linked head coach Dean Smith with having an interest in him.
I’m not sure you can call a completely speculative piece an exclusive as it contains no real information and predictably leans on a possible Jack sale (not happening) but that doesn’t mean he wouldn’t be a decent addition and whilst reaction was mixed, I’m not alone.
Really would like this to happen.

I do agree with you, but I don’t think Dack can be considered a championship player, up there with the likes of Grealish.

Interesting signing this could be. Stepped up so far in his career and scores goals. DS could get the best out of him too
