I’m kind of getting used to this now – Aston Villa have the cameras back out for our friendly against Walsall in an hours time.

We head to the Banks’s Stadium this evening for a 7.45pm kick off as we continue to build our fitness ahead of the coming Championship campaign, following our earlier friendlies against Telford, Kidderminster and Shrewsbury.

The annual trip to our local neighbours is again being streamed live on the club’s Youtube page.

So here you go.

Villa:

Johnstone, Bree, Samba, Terry, Taylor, Lansbury, Hourihane, Bjarnason, Amavi, Green, Agbonlahor.

Subs:

Bunn, Chester, Hutton, Richards, Lyden, Veretout, Hogan.

  • Nobody, with the exception of Amavi, seems capable of beating anybody. Feeding off scraps in the box would be an exaggeration.

  • Just back from Bescot. To give the ‘ffs it’s only a friendly’ brigade some ammo, take note. WE ARE IN BIG TROUBLE. Thank you and good night.
