19-year-old Caleb Chukwuemeka is going from strength to strength at Aston Villa following his arrival from Northampton Town over the summer.
Many in the fanbase wondered what the lad was about and whether or not he was simply brought in to help keep brother Carney content given all the speculation we saw about his future, but that clearly wasn’t the case as Caleb is beginning to make a name for himself in his own right as a striker.
Having had a good September at Under 23 level, Caleb was up for the Premier League 2’s Player of the Month award, and he’s only gone and won it.
Congratulations, @Caleb_Chuk10! 🔥#PL2

With five goals across the month, Caleb has more than played his part in helping us to top the PL2 (Div 2) table and his hattrick against local rivals West Bromwich Albion is certainly worth rewatching.
Caleb beat Folarin Balogun (Arsenal), Sam Burns (Blackburn Rovers), Alfie Devine (Tottenham Hotspur), Baba Fernandes (Nottingham Forest), Joe Gelhardt (Leeds United) and Jesurun Rak-Sakyi (Crystal Palace) to the award this time around and I’d say there’s every chance he’ll be up for this gong again in the very near future.
One of many to keep an eye on coming through our Academy now.
