The event will be held on Saturday 13th June 2009 at the Birmingham NIA. Doors open at 6.30pm, kick off at 8pm and it is due to finish about 11pm.

It promises to be a great night, and here is the squad of former players representing Aston Villa at this year’s Masters:-

Paul Crichton – The goalkeeper spent a week in 1997 on loan at the club but failed to make an appearance.

Ian Taylor – A true Holte End hero. The midfielder played for the club for almost 9 years, making well over 200 appearances for the club, highlight being his part in the club winning the League Cup in 1996.

Mark Draper – This midfielder joined in the summer of 1995, a year later he was picking up a winner’s medal from the 1996 League Cup final. He ended his career through injury.

Bryan Small – He was at the club for 6 years making around 30 appearances for the club. He spent most of his career on loan at various clubs including a spell at the Blues.

Neil Cox – This defender spent 3 years at the club between 1991 and 1994, and made around 40 appearances during this time.

Hassan Kachloul – The Moroccan arrived from Southampton on a free transfer but struggled to make an impact despite spending 3 seasons at the club.

Tony Daley – The popular pacey winger played his part in the club’s League Cup win in 1994 and he even played for both Wolves and WBA!

Mark Kinsella – The Irish midfielder played around 20 games for the club between 2002 and 2004 before leaving to play for West Brom and later Walsall.

David Norton – Dave could play in midfield or up front and made around 40 appearances for the team between 1983 and 1988.



If you fancy supporting your heroes from years gone by then get along to the NIA on Saturday night. Tickets range from £15 to £20 or £10 for concessions.
