Unoial Villa News…

2017 has certainly provided a mixed bag for Villans around the globe but with only a bit of time to go before the clock bongs, we say goodbye to the year level on points with Sheffield United who sit in the last Play Off spot. Rather than overly talk football, meltdowns, some self hanging when it came to self stated ambitions for the season and the word of the month again ‘crisis’ – I think we all agree some more entertaining football in 2018 would cheer everyone up as long as they are accompanied by wins.
So a quick thank you all for taking time to read and contribute to Vital Villa. Read more: 2018 – Happy New Year To All You Vital Villans

Following: Ridiculous Post Match Hissy Fit From Steve Bruce revolutionatlast has sent in the following defence of Steve Bruce (important to note in my article I wasn`t calling for his head, I was having a go at the negative post match comments that – and some have missed this I think – criticised fans, the owner and the CEO for ‘hysteria`).

Over to revolutionatlast (with thanks for the article submission, always happy to take all opinions and views)

In defence of Bruce

I know this won’t be popular with many but I agree with Bruce’s comments about hysteria from the fans.

Great post match reactions because it was a great match. Not rocket science this is it?! Did I read the words ‘rampant Villa’ , great display and we now need a run of victories between now and the end of the season, just think where we would of been with a better December ??? Would like to see the ‘youthful’ look of the bench continued and not get replaced when Whelan and Gabby are fit again… we need to move forward ! Be very interesting how we do in the transfer market this January ? Eddy1 Read more: Jubilant Villa Fans After The Real Villa Turn Up
