Paul Brown: Brett Holman says his aim is clear – starring in training to get himself into Paul Lambert’s first team. Holman accepts it’s a ‘weird situation’ that he’s now plying his trade in claret and blue under the eye of a different manager to the one who originally signed him. Mr K at www.birminghammail.net has a quick update on Jean Makoun who apparently has a slight complication with his work permit so can`t play in the pre-season games at the moment.
