Aston Villa’s U21 side battled back from behind tonight in the game against Blackburn Rovers to take a justified point for the second game running. It`s strange when you sit down to think, or write, about Villa these days. When I did match reports I tried my best not to look at the bigger picture and to just talk about the game. Please, sir, I want some more! I think that nine out of ten Villa cats will agree that the feeling that their team’s win at Stoke produced on Saturday, was as much a pleasure as it was a novelty, and for me it seemed such a rarity that I totally forgot that Villa had enjoyed a similar inspiring win at the Emirates, last August, which seemed at the time, to portend all sorts of positive things for the season, which as every Villan knows, definitely did not happen.
