Stiliyan Petrov has told the official site just how important Gabby Agbonlahor is for Villa. Saying how much the player has impressed him both on the field and in training. ‘Look at the way he took his goal. He used his power and his muscle, he turned and scored a great goal. Coach tickets for the Sunderland trip have now ‘sold out’ (they were free but you get the gist) MON said to the official site: ‘I am delighted with the response of the fans who have taken up the offer of the football club to have free travel on the buses. That is a major boost for the squad. I am thankful and very, very pleased with the supporters – and so are the players. I think it’s terrific.’ Well done to Lisa Smith for pointing out to the manager that fans were struggling cost wise and for MON to take immediate action. Fab stuff.

Fieldy: Stiliyan Petrov believes the disappointment surrounding our recent 1-1 draw with Wolves, shows how far the club have progressed under Monny. Speaking on the official site Petrov said it was probably the kind of game a few seasons ago we would’ve snatched defeat from the jaws of victory having conceded so soon after scoring ourselves.
