Well, this wouldn`t be good! The Daily Star say Villa are battling with Liverpool for Roberto Martinez. Ok, nothing new there. But they also claim that Villa agreed a deal with Martinez last Wednesday and have been ‘dismayed` that he then went to talk to Liverpool bosses in Miami. Former Villa manager Ron Atkinson has told The Mirror that it won`t matter who the new manager is IF Randy Lerner doesn`t invest in the team.
