Aston Villa’s Glenn Whelan, Conor Hourihane and Scott Hogan have been called up by Republic of Ireland manager Martin O’Neill for the coming international break. Kevin MacDonald’s Under 23 side got back to winning ways as we hosted Brighton at Villa Park last night. Both sides created a number of chances across the 90 minutes, but Jordan Lyden popped up late on in the 83rd minute to hit our winner and pick up three Premier League 2 points on the evening and for those watching on Youtube, it wasn’t a bad performance at all.
