1) When did you become a Villa fan and why?

I’m from a family of passionate West Brom fans, but when I was around 7/8 my cousin who supported villa showed me football in a more detailed way than just players pass a ball around and when they score you shout GOALL!
He went into detail about how much better and more successful villa were than West Brom. I’ve been villa ever since that day.

2) What is your favourite Villa moment of all time/most treasured memory?

As I just said I come from a family of passionate West Brom fans, and the one time I always remember Is going to the villa v West Brom derby at the hawthorns with my dad and sitting with the West Brom fans. It was a tight game and I’d managed to stay quiet and remain an undetected villa fan in enemy territory. But gabby popped up in the 80th minute and made it 2-1, I couldn’t help myself and burst out ‘GET IN!!’.
Got a lot of angry stares but I didn’t care and we left with all 3 points. Rubbed it in my dads face the whole way home. Cracking day!

3) If you could bring back a former Villa player into this team (at his peak) who would it be and why?

Think it would have to be Ashley young to be honest. Definitely not the best player we’ve had, but we’ve been lacking a winger with the quality to beat a player, get a great cross in the box, and pop up with the odd goal since he left. But hopefully given more game time this season Andre green can change that.

4) Steve Bruce? Your opinion please?

Unsure. Yes he has a great track record in the championship, and he steadied the ship last season. But his tactics have been disastrous in some games, and all of his signings have underwhelmed really. But hopefully with the few signings he wants and a full pre season to sort the team out he can work his magic this season. But If he does get us promoted it leaves us in a funny position, as we will need to show gratitude and give him a chance in the premiership, but I do not rate him at that level at all!

5) Best and worst moments of last season?

Best: beating Birmingham

Worst: losing 3-0 to Brentford when most our January signings were playing. I expected so much more!

6) Your opinion of Doctor Tony Xia and our CEO Keith Wyness?

I personally love them both. Tony is doing all the right things, sticks to his word and seems to have genuine passion.

Keith seems a real gentleman and football guy, always has time for the fans, and I think he’s played a big part in getting villa back on track behind the scenes.

7) What do you think we need most in the transfer window?

There’s a few areas that need strengthening, but a goalkeeper is essential.

8) Which player/s should Villa get rid of this summer?

Richards, Gabby, Bacuna, Elphick, Cissoko (providing we can sign a decent left back in his place), Tshibola.

9) Favourite and least favourite current player? (Explanation if you wish)

Favourite player is Jedinak. Team doesn’t work without him.

Least favourite is Richards. 50k a week to be the dressing room clown!

10) Who was your first footballing hero and who are your favourite all time player/s?

Barry was always my first hero. Came through the youth ranks and became such an important part of the first team.

Other favourites: Petrov, Laursen, Mellberg, Angel, Benteke.

11) What do you expect us to do/finish this season coming?

We have to go for top 2. I expect it to be between us and Middlesbrough for the title.

12) You can ask yourself any question you want to about Villa and what is your answer?

What formation and players do you think will work best next season?

I honest think a 4-3-3 is our best formation.

Keeper:
Hopefully Johnstone.

Across the back:
Taylor Chester Baker Bree

Midfield:
Jedinak in front of the back 4, with hourihane and Lansbury operating central midfield and Lansbury playing a slightly more advanced role.

Attack:
Green out on the left wing and Adomah on the right, with kodjia playing the lone striker role.
