There seems to be a lot of fuss about the comments by Sir Graham of Taylor who told Radio WM last night he believes that Villa have been sold.

People are saying that if GT says it, it must be true. But if you read the comments properly, GT admits it is ‘tittle tattle` so he`s got it off someone else, who has probably got it off someone else who heard it online or from twitter!
‘The feeling is that the club will be up for sale {1}, it is only tittle tattle but I had heard that the club had been sold on the basis that it had retained a Premier League place, if it didn’t, it wasn’t sold. {2}
‘We all hear stories but I heard that from what I would call a good source and I think that just fits in with a lot.”
{1} Totally agree, think it is obvious now that Randy has probably had enough. We have a willing seller here.
{2} The supposition for a good long while now that gathered pace after the last daft statement from our owner that was meant to clear things up and in fact was as clear as mud.
GT is very clear with his wordings, he’s not trying to pass himself off as a first hand itk. He is not the sort who would break a confidence, he is way too long in the tooth and too much of a gentleman for that
He is repeating the already strong rumours they have been all over the internet and in threads like this, for a good while.
People do read too much into these things and miss the main words. He admits it is gossip.
This is all I’ve tried to say all along, until randy speaks it isn’t fact UNLESS someone has some substance behind it.
It could well be any of those named, someone not named, or not on at all.
The time I will get excited (or otherwise depending on who what when) is when it is fact.
You can be 100% sure Graham a Taylor has not been approached because he would not be talking if he had and I know that as another group right back at the Ellis time had asked him and he didn’t mention it once.
Also, why do people think it can only be Texan’s just because we have a pre-season friendly there?! LOL… we’ll see.

From what I can gather about the statement is it may or may not say we are for sale and/or have or have not sold.
As an addendum, I believe it could or could not include that the manager has or has not been sacked.
I hope this clears things up slightly, I am breaking confidences repeating it but thought it was time.

Tom, Steve, Dave, Tim, Jon, Mark, Matthew, Bernard, Andrew.. All May or may not be involved.
The buyer I’m told, could or could not be from Europe, America, Africa, Far and/or Middle East or in fact elsewhere.
It is pretty strongly rumoured they are of human origins although alien forms can’t be totally ruled out according to David Ike.
