Not a great deal of news about today.

Tony Cascarino has joined the list of pundits giving Villa a bit of a slating and saying that the fans are down and unhappy.

He told Talksport that he was at the Arsenal game and said Villa were ‘awful` and that we never looked like scoring adding, “I was amazed how poor they were.”

The former Villa striker noticed that Villa fans are simply ‘numb` (good word for it I think, the team don`t turn up and have no fight, think Villa fans are simply stunned and embarrassed right now at the football … ‘football` on offer.

We don`t even try.

‘They are just numb. They`re waiting for something to happen but the club is in limbo at the moment. The die-hard Villa fans are not happy with what`s happening.”

He also says that he would be ‘amazed` if the season ticket sales don`t reflect how awful we are.

“Sales will be well down if the fans aren`t looking forward to next season. But they`re dreading it.”

Interesting article comment from a ‘neutral` saying us fans are delusional … ahem.

Deanovilla has just started a thread in the forum, think he speaks for at least 80% of the fans at the moment (which is a surprise to me as much as him, as usually he speaks total rubbish…!)

There is never a wrong time to do the right thing

Someone used this quote at work today and it got me thinking about the McLeish scenario.

Are you listening Randy? Stop putting off the inevitable, and do the right thing NOW!
