Aston Villa youngster Rushian Hepburn-Murphy is on the road back to recovery after being hit with injury in 2018/19.
Big things continue to be hoped for from the 20-year-old striker following his early substitute debut in the clash against Sunderland back in 2014/15, but since then he has only made 13 sub showings in league competition, with four appearances in the domestic cups.
Having featured seven times in 2018/19, we haven’t seen him since the beginning of September but he made his return to the pitch in our most recent Under 23 clash and although we lost 5-4 on the day, he did find the back of the net.
First 30 minutes in awhile! Always nice to get a goal as well #avfc

Taking to social media following his run out against Reading’s second string he was obviously delighted to have been back in action and as we expect new head coach Dean Smith to soon pivot to seeing what our youngsters can do, he’ll be hoping his return to fitness is timed right as he looks to impress again.
Some were happy to see him back although I’m still unsure about that bloke who posted the first comment.
