Matt Kendrick at The Birmingham Mail has some quotes from Paul Lambert about 27-year-old right-back Alan Hutton.
Having been left out of the USA tour and Nottingham Forest friendly, it is clear he is on his way out:
“He`s shown a good attitude in training so there are no qualms on that front. I spoke to Alan before we went to America and it is the same as before. Nothing has changed really. He is training with the first team and doing everything right. I have no problem with Alan whatsoever and he knows that because I had a chat with him. There have been no inquiries for Alan – not at the minute.”
Hopefully he gets sorted soon, not a nice situation for the player either.

www.thesun.co.uk repeats the link, which looks a bit spurious to me, to Ghana midfielder Anthony Annan who has been told he can leave Schalke he can leave for around £2.5m. See: Anthony Annan Next One In?
