Trio Of Injury Worries For Villa

Martin O’Neill is waiting on injury updates for three players who hobbled off during our 2-1 loss against Dutch NEC Nijmegen last night.

Rookie defender Gary Cahill has an ankle injury, Luke Moore was off with a bad foot and the luckless defender Mark Delaney had to come off with a back problem.

O’Neill said: ‘Gary’s a worry for us. He has a knee problem. I’m not sure how bad it is. We should have a better idea in the morning. I hope the other injuries we can do something about in the short term.’
