Gordon Cowans’ young charges suffered a second successive defeat in today’s game against Swansea City.

It’s been a relatively reasonable season so far for the youngsters, with a return of ten points so far from six games following today’s match, but such a heavy victory on the back of the last loss and the fact we hadn’t been in semi competitive action for three weeks wouldn’t have been what anybody wanted.

That said, with the Under 21 camp somewhat disrupted in recent times with seniors gaining fitness and coming back from injury, it was a true return to a youth side today so hopefully they’ll click again soon.
