Aston Villa’s Under 23 tie against Brighton later this evening is being screened live on Youtube.
Tonight’s clash takes place at Villa Park and kicks off at 7pm – tickets are £3 adults and £1 concessions and of course season ticket holders can gain entry for free.
Having won three and lost two of our opening Premier League 2 fixtures, last time out we lost four one to Middlesbrough, Kevin MacDonald will be looking for a return to winning ways as James Bree, Jake Doyle-Hayes and Jordan Lyden are reportedly in the group.
Our last Villa Park game saw a four nil defeat of Southampton. That game saw Jonathan Kodjia’s return to the pitch and goals from Jordan Cox (2), Corey Taylor and Callum O’Hare, and a repeat tonight would be welcome.
