Having suffered a first defeat in nine games against Newcastle United last Friday evening, title hopes have been extinguished for our youngsters but we have been confirmed as runners-up in the Division 2 table and that has secured a one-legged home Play-Off semi-final against the team who finishes fifth in the table.

Potential opponents are Reading, Southampton, Fulham, Norwich and Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Should we progress through the semi-final stage, our league position means we will also host the Play-Off final in B6.
Promotion hopes are therefore still alive for our next generation, but obviously, we’ll be looking to close out the regular campaign by getting back to winning ways.
Tickets are available at the gate at Villa Park tonight priced at £4 adults and £1 concessions. Season Ticket Holders gain free entry as always.
The whole game is also set for screening on the clubs’ YouTube channel for those who want to watch from the comfort of their own seats.
Next Friday our youngsters are also in Premier League Cup action against Leicester City in the semi-finals. The game takes place at the King Power Stadium and kicks off at 7pm. Tickets are priced at £3 adults and £1 concessions.
