It’s being reported that Manchester United and Arsenal are keeping tabs on striker Keinan Davis.

ESPN are one of a number to report that their ‘sources’ have informed them that owing to the youngsters’ progress so far this season, Manchester United and Arsenal are now keeping an eye on the 19 year old.

Whilst the two clubs are name checked in the reports, the suggestion is several others are also keeping tabs on him following his rise from Biggleswade Town.

Whilst the pieces speculate about potential January interest, I can’t see anything happening with him getting good game time and given his own journey through the pyramid I’m pretty sure Davis isn’t going to swap a regular first team spot for an Under 23 group anytime soon.

  • Contract ends summer. Scary stuff. I would leave in a shot if a big club came knocking for me offering ££££.

  • get him signed up to a new contract then. If he goes to Man U or Arsenal he will just be playing under 23’s and league cup matches

  • I just hope Keinan isn’t the type of young player who easily has his head turned by the likes of the ‘big’ names like Manure and the like. Also he hasn’t got an agent who sees an opportunity to make a few quid. As far as the club is concerned, we need

  • It was bound to happen, one of the many decent youngsters attracting the attention of richer clubs. This could be the first real test of our resolve, can we persuade him to sign a long contract? Can we rebuff huge offers? I sure hope so.

  • Agreed Pride of Lions. I would like to see him signed up to a long deal. When you look at some of the contracts that the dead wood are on, it would be utter madness to let him get stolen out from under us. None of that cheap assed buy out clause malarkey
