We are looking at signing former Paris FC centre-back Samuel Yohou, according to Sporting Life.
The website reports that we are one of three Championship clubs keeping tabs on the defender.
A complete unknown in this country, the 26-year-old has spent his entire career playing in the French lower leagues. He left Paris FC this summer at the end of his one-year contract at the Ligue Two side.
The fact that Yahou wasn’t even a regular in the French second division is also a major concern. He started just half of his team’s league matches last season, although it must be said he was a regular for the French side between February and May.
One of the things that does go in his favour is despite finishing eighth in the second tier, his team had the joint third best defensive record; conceding just 36 goals in 38 games.
Previous to his spell at Paris FC, he spent a year with AS Beziers in the French Championnat National (the third-tier), where he again was part of a solid defence.
