Aston Villa have now confirmed the shirt numbers for the coming 2017/18 campaign.
With a number of new signings this summer, there are also some changes from the numbers dished out last year.
James Chester moves from No 12 to the iconic No 5 shirt and he follows in the footsteps of the likes of Paul McGrath, Ugo Ehiogu and Martin Laursen. Former not quite a trialist Chris Samba has taken the No 4 shirt and Jack Grealish takes No 10.
Sam Johnstone has to the No 1, we all knew John Terry would continue his association with No 26, so Jonathan Kodjia has switched to No 22.
Glenn Whelan takes No 6 and Ahmed Elmohamady takes No 27.
Henri Lansbury has also changed as he moves from No 5 to No 8.
