Sky Sports have Montpellier president Louis Nicollin saying that Villa have bid for 23-year-old Moroccan international Younes Belhanda.

Apparently the midfielder has stated his desire to play in the Premiership and has been linked also to both Spurs and Arsenal.

However Nicollin says there is only one PL bid on the table:

Speaking to LeSport10, a regular read in the Fear household, he said:

‘He is leaving. There are four or five clubs that have come in. It is now down to the player to choose now because we are almost in agreement with the clubs. He will leave for 14-15 million euros.’

He then names the clubs as AC Milan, Inter Milan, Atletico Madrid, Galatasaray and Aston Villa.

Wiki: Younès Belhanda (Arabic: يونس بلهندة‎ ; born 25 February 1990) is a Moroccan international footballer who plays for Montpellier. He primarily plays as an attacking midfielder and a winger and is described as a player who possesses ‘vision, technique and intelligent decision-making’. After beginning his career in a defensive role, he has developed into an attacker, which has led to his current coach René Girard comparing him to former France international Robert Pirès.[1]

Belhanda is a former France youth international having represented the country at under-20 level. In 2010, he announced his intentions to represent Morocco at senior international level. Belhanda made his senior international debut in November 2010 against Northern Ireland and scored his first international goal in a 2012 Africa Cup of Nations match against Niger.
