The Birmingham Mail are reporting that a man in his 50`s suffered a cardiac arrest at Villa Park last night.

He is said to be doing well in hospital.

A spokesman said: “The WMAS and St John medics worked together to give the patient CPR, drug therapy and two shocks from a defibrillator. The man responded well to treatment and came round at the ground. He was taken by ambulance to City Hospital where he continues to undergo treatment. Whilst it is very early days, the initial signs are hopeful. This case shows the value of knowing how to carry out CPR,”

Puts our moans in perspective, I`m sure I speak for us all wishing our fellow Villan all the best and a speedy recovery.
