Villa Fan Up For Fan Of Month Award

Villa fan Alan Perrins has been shortlisted for the Barclays Fan of the Month Award.

And the official site says he needs our support adding:

He runs our South West supporters club – covering Devon, Cornwall and Somerset – and runs coach journeys bringing around 300 fans to every single home game.

Earlier this month, when Villa played West Ham, someone booked to travel with the supporters club forgot to inform Alan he was disabled. Alan hired a people carrier and drove him personally all the way to Villa Park following three mini buses and three coaches in convoy.

Last year Alan organised a Fans v Aston Villa Old Stars charity match raising £3,500 for Devon Air Ambulance.
