The club are one of four teams interested in Liverpool winger Sheyi Ojo, according to Goal.com‘s Neil Jones.
Rivals Birmingham City, Stoke City and Derby County are also said to be keen on the 21-year-old, who could be set for another loan spell away from Anfield.
Ojo spent last season on loan at Fulham, but a succession of injuries curtailed his playing time. He still managed to make 24 appearances for the Cottagers, scoring four goals and providing two assists.
The England Under 21 international generally plays off the right wing and is likely being lined up as a possible replacement for Robert Snodgrass.
Snoddy won’t be returning to Villa Park after his season-long loan. His parent club West Ham are reportedly demanding £10m for the midfielder, and his wages of £60k a week also make a permanent deal a non-starter.
With the club’s finances as they are, manager Steve Bruce will likely look to the loan market for solutions this summer, and it looks like Ojo could be a target for us.
