Transfer talk is still in short supply, wish the Euro`s would hurry up and end so we can get down to some real business!
The Daily Mail say that Villa are looking to sign AS Nancy left-back Massadio Haidara.
Apparently McLeish had lined this one up and Villa have watched him play 10 times. The report says that McLeish sent CEO over to watch him though. I`m not sure about that, surely you send your scouts over?!?!
The 19-year-old has played for the French U20 team.
Wiki say: Massadio Haïdara (born 2 December 1992 in Trappes) is a French football player of Senegalese descent who plays for French club Nancy in Ligue 1. The report also repeats the link to Spurs Kyle Naughton at the expense of Alan Hutton.
They also mention Denmark`s international left-back Simon Poulsen as a potential Stephen Warnock replacement if they don`t do the business bringing in Haidara. We`ve been linked to Poulsen before: AZ Alkmaar`s Denmark defender Simon Poulsen: Danish Defender To Save Our Bacon?
