James Milner has been called up to the full England side from the Under-21`s following injury to Manchester United midfielder Michael Carrick.
Various media sources are suggesting that Carrick has suffered a foot injury and joins a long list of absentees from the England squad ahead of the World Cup qualifiers against world football powerhouses Kazakhstan and Andorra.
Milner, 23, holds the record for number of Under-21 caps with a whopping 48 appearances however has not managed a full cap as of yet despite being called up by current boss Fabio Capello in February`s friendly defeat at the hands of European Champions Spain.
The former Newcastle midfielder joins Gareth Barry, Ashley Young and the mighty Emile Heskey for the trip to Almaty.
