Writing in his regular Sky Sports column, David Prutton has suggested that Villa need to be wary of tonight’s opponents Rotherham in the Sky Bet Championship.
The Millers are fighting relegation at the moment but they have got plenty of bottle and there is every suggestion that they could get themselves out of trouble by the time the curtain is called.
We need to be at it, then, and Prutton – though predicting a 2-0 win for us – has suggested that it is going to be a real scrap.
“Rotherham are still within reach of survival, and they will fancy their chances of giving Aston Villa a scare at home, even though Dean Smith’s side are in such good form.”
Without doubt, he has got a point and the Villans need to be well aware of what he has said.
The Millers don’t roll over for anyone and make it tough for everyone, so it will be a battle.
We have the quality to beat them, though, so as long as we match them for desire we should get another big three points.
