I thought this was worth pointing out.

We bemoaned – quite rightly – the fall and fall of Villa Park being a place that other teams feared coming to. In fact, in our rel , releg… I find that word too hard to say, the memory remains bitter… in the year we dropped to the Championship, most teams saw a visit to Villa Park as three points because we had such a soft underbelly.

Now look:

We`ve now lost just once in our last seventeen league games at Villa Park. We`ve won ten and drawn six.

That is credit to Steve Bruce and the team. I know some of it, as he was building, has been dull. Fine, I`d take dull and effective if it means promotion (I can`t say rele… rel… but I can say PROMOTION!).

Now confidence is high, we can hopefully expect to see more home wins, less draws and keep that one loss as that, one!
