With the summer transfer rumour mill linking Aston Villa with having an interest in Turkish side Kasimpasa’s winger Trezeguet, it has now been claimed for a second time that we have upped our offer and pushed the deal through.

International Wingers “Insistence” Decides His Future & Villa Will May Have Another Fresh Face

With initial reports claiming that we had made a 7.5million Euro bid for the 24-year-old Egyptian international winger, but that his club had knocked that back as not being good enough, Turkish television channel Trtspor have claimed that an 11million Euro offer has now sealed the deal and his time at Kasimpasa is now over.

I’m not so sure this is a rehash of the original 11million Euro rumours and the implication that the player himself made it clear he wanted the move and helped to force the deal through, as the 10% sell on clause is a new claim in itself, and it more reads as an update that personal terms have now been struck to me.

With an expectation that he’ll be announced over the weekend, we’ll soon find out in any event.
