Aston Villa now enter a well deserved break with the March international games now taking precedence in the football calendar and there was no better way to go into the Championship lull than with victory over fellow promotion hunting Middlesbrough.
Goals from Anwar El Ghazi, John McGinn and Albert Adomah gave us a comfortable 3-0 victory and the clean sheet was another massive boost for everyone. Four wins on the spin also sees us temporarily retake sixth place as we continue to put previous disappointments behind us.
With a number of positives to take from the game, on loan Bournemouth centre-half Tyrone Mings summed things up nicely as he took to social media following the game on Saturday afternoon.
4 games, 3 clean sheets, 12 points. Enjoy the break and see you all soon for the run in 🦁😍 #UTV pic.twitter.com/JECgHgN40K
