Villa Target Not For Sale

Nuremberg have told Aston Villa that Japanese midfielder Hiroshi Kiyotake is not for sale this summer.

It’s another left field link from Paul Lambert, but the 23 year old was apparently quite impressive in his first season for the club last year and impressed at the recent Confederations Cup where he apparently came to our attention.

Sporting Director Martin Bader has told reporters:

‘We have informed Villa clearly that we have no interest in selling the player. Such inquiries flatter us, but Hiroshi is here to stay.’

Can’t say I know anything about the player at all, anybody help?
