Young Aston Villa Academy graduate Indiana Vassilev completed a third loan move away from the club last night and he returns to his homeland of the United States for a season long spell with David Beckham’s newly incorporated Inter Miami.

The 20-year-old striker has represented the US at youth level so he’ll no doubt receive a warm welcome and he’ll certainly be looking to impress after gaining experience out on loan last season with Burton Albion and latterly, Cheltenham Town, as he built on his four substitute appearances for our first team squad.

This is only Miami’s second season in the MLS following their creation, but Indy will see some familiar faces as former England Women’s gaffer Phil Neville is in the management hot seat and their roster includes Argentine international Gonzalo Higuain and French international Blaise Matuidi.

Hopefully it’ll be a good spell for the lad and he’ll find himself a goal touch to add to his workman like efforts on the pitch so far.
