We’re heading into the final weeks of the season and the Villans once again have something to play for which is good to see.
The play-offs look in our hands now and if we can win all of our games from now to the end of the season we’ve a great chance of going into that shootout and winning it outright.
We’ll also be thinking about transfers, though, and if we remain keen on Nick Powell then it seems as though we have a good chance of bringing him in.
TeamTalk reported last summer that he was a big target of Steve Bruce’s and though we didn’t sign him he should still be someone we consider.
He has great attacking ability in behind a striker and would add competition in that area, whilst it also seems as though he could be available on a free.
Indeed, as per Wigan Today, he is yet to sign a new deal with the Latics and is thought to be willing to consider his options in the summer.
And, if Villa are still keen, every passing day only increases our chances of getting him.
