Highly rated Aston Villa Academy graduate Callum O’Hare headed out for his first loan spell back at the end of the January transfer window and his destination for the second half of the campaign was Brunton Park and Carlisle United.
The 21-year-old talent had a very good spell with them once he found his feet and settled in and with 16 starting appearances to his name in League Two, he chipped in with three goals.
Having come in for plenty of praise, we continue to have high hopes for the lad under head coach Dean Smith and there is an expectation we’ll see a bit more of him again next season as he builds on his five starts and four substitute showings in our shirt.
With his loan spell now at an end, O’Hare sent his thanks to the club and the fans for the way they welcomed him in this year.
Just wanted to say a massive thank you to everyone involved at @officialcufc the staff, the fans and all the boys have been excellent with me from day one. It’s been a great second half of the season and I’ll always be checking to see how your doing #CUFC 🔵
