1) When did you become a Villa fan and why?

I was born a Villa fan, my dad is a life long Villa fan and so was my grandad before him. My earliest memories are from infant school circa 5 or 6 followed by the European cup final (I was 8) but my old man can remember taking me to games before that and to me listening to the radio on a Saturday afternoon waiting for the Villa scores

2) Paul Lambert? Your opinion please?

Not my first choice but I`m really excited. At the end of last season I`d have happily had my mom as manager. I got excited by the idea of continental style football under Martinez, OGS or AVB but have been really impressed with what PL has said so far and the fact that he wanted to come so badly that he resigned.

3) Best and worst moments of last season?

Best has to be the last day of the season, although it was run close by goals from Herd and Weiman. Worst is easy, hearing the news of Stan`s illness.

4) Your opinion of Randy Lerner and the board, can a decent season next season make up for last season?

Absolutely. I have no idea why Randy appointed McLeish, he obviously felt it was a good idea at the time. I know some can`t forgive the apparent snub to the fans but fans are not normally the best judges of footballing matters so I quite like the fact that Randy was prepared to take what he thought was the best decision for the club even if it made him unpopular, and he hasn`t once refused to back a manager with funds. The club has improved massively under RL and having suffered through the Ellis years I still regard him as a breath of fresh air.

5) Which player/s should Villa sign this summer?

I`m scouting the Euros as I type. In my opinion we need a ball winning / box to box midfielder to give us some drive and steel

6) Which player/s should Villa get rid of this summer?

How long have we got? Over and above the ones already gone, I`d show the exit door to Dunne and Delph. I`d give a second season to Hutton (never thought I`d say that) and Nzogbia and a last chance to Gabby, Fonz and Albie.

7) Favourite current player?

Tough one. I rate Given highly, think Clark is going to be class and I love Weiman`s attitude, love the fact that Gabby is a local lad, but I guess I`d have to say Ireland is the one who can get me on the edge of my seat. He looks a class above everything else on the pitch at times and worked his backside off last season.

8) Favourite all time player/s?

Hmmmm. I cried when Andy Gray went to Wolves. Gary Shaw was my favorite as a kid (although I look back now and see the impact of Morley on our attacking play). Mark Walters used to be amazing to watch. I loved Platty and Yorke but both have blotted their copy books since leaving the Villa. Mcgrath and Laursen were both class acts, as was Mellberg, but if I had to pick just one it would be Ian Taylor, simply because he literally bled for the cause, scored important goals, was and still is a Villa fan.

9) What do you expect us to do/finish this season assuming a decent transfer window with £25m or so spent?

Premier top 8, but with a good run and getting on a bit of a roll, I see no reason why we couldn`t do a Newcastle next year
FA Cup: 3rd round as normal
Carling: last 8.

10) You can ask yourself any question you want to about Villa and what is your answer?

Question: would you like an Arab sheik or Russian oligarch to buy the club and do a Man City / Chelsea?

Answer: I`d hate to see the heart and soul of the club ripped out but as it`s the only way we`ll ever be able to really compete and shut up the arrogant London / North West press I`d like to see it happen.

11) Just to change the theme slightly, a snap shot of you outside of football, answer or ignore at your leisure:
