1) When did you become a Villa fan and why?

I was 6 years of age when my Dad took me to Villa Park for my 1st game in 1967, a 1-0 home defeat by Plymouth. I never had a choice. It was either follow the Villa or be sent to the Greta Garbo home for wayward boys and girls.

2) Paul Lambert? Your opinion please?

Very excited with his appointment. For a start he looks to have the overwhelming support from the fans. His CV is impressive and is a young, ambitious manager whose career is on a uphill curve. He comes across as someone who will stand no nonsense from the players, which I believe our current squad is in need of. His tactical decisions at Norwich City always appeared well thought out.

3) Best and worst moments of last season?

Worst was hearing the news that Stan had been diagnosed with Leukemia, put everything else into perspective.
Best was McLeish having his contract terminated and the realization that the cloud over B6 was lifting.

4) Your opinion of Randy Lerner and the board, can a decent season next season make up for last season?

I hope and believe that we can all put last seasons nightmare behind us and move on. I still think Lerner can move us forward, and the appointment of Paul Lambert is a good start. I still do not understand how the Board came to the decision to make McLeish our manager but believe they have learned from the their mistake.

5) Which player/s should Villa sign this summer?

I feel we need to revamp our back four. I would like to see Brede Hangeland at the heart of our defense and maybe Jose Bosingwa. I feel we have creative players in the squad that lacked confidence and direction last season

6) Which player/s should Villa get rid of this summer?

Hutton and Warnock should be moved on and I think we may see a couple of surprise exits, maybe Gabby.

7) Favourite current player?

Darren Bent. An attack minded side needs a proven goalscorer and Bent is still the man for me.

8) Favourite all time player/s?

Paul McGrath, Brian Little, Sid, Andy Gray, Martin Laursen, Willie Anderson.

9) What do you expect us to do/finish this season assuming a decent transfer window with £25m or so spent?

Premier … top ten
FA Cup … last eight
Carling …. last four

10) You can ask yourself any question you want to about Villa and what is your answer?

Will Aston Villa win their 8th FA Cup in my lifetime?
Oh I do hope so, but I am 51 later this month so they better get a move on.

11) Just to change the theme slightly, a snap shot of you outside of football, answer or ignore at your leisure:
