1) When did you become a Villa fan and why?
1958 opening home game of the season. The why is simple, I felt at home on the Holte.
2) What is your favourite Villa moment of all time/most treasured memory?
The final whistle of the European Cup is my favourite moment. Treasured memories are far to many to write in an e-mail.
3) If you could bring back a former Villa player into this team (at his peak) who would it be and why?
Gerry Hitchins/Peter McParland/Paul McGrath. I think the resons why speak for themselves.
4) Paul Lambert? Your opinion please?
Paul Lambert surprised me pleasantly last season. He is even more of his own man than I thought he was.
5) Best and worst moments of last season?
Best of last season was finishing exactly where I predicted. Worst was the games against the old enemy, WBA.
6) Some say last season was a success, others not so much. What is your opinion?
I have to say that last season was a success. A season played on the whole with untried untested players and we did play some cracking good football at times.
7) Your opinion of Randy Lerner and the board?
Still undecided about RL. I just hope he leaves PL alone to run the team matters and supports him when he can.
8) Which player/s should Villa sign this summer?
Wilfried Bony, Phillipp Hosinger, Lucas Biglia, Sebastion Wimmer, Kolorov.
9) Which player/s should Villa get rid of this summer?
Given, Ireland, Hutton, N’Zogbia, Bent, Holman, Bennett, Bannan? Benteke? I’d give KEA and Herd another season.
10) Favourite current player?
Guzan, simply because he recognised his weaknesses and worked on them.
11) Who was your first footballing hero and who are your favourite all time player/s?
Gerry Hitchins is my 1st hero. So many favourite altime players including Johnny Haynes, Frank Worthington, Andy Gray, Brian Little. I could go on for days.
12) What do you expect us to do/finish this season?
Premier 12-15
FA Cup 4th round
Carling Cup quarters.
13) You can ask yourself any question you want to about Villa and what is your answer?
Will I see Villa win the champions League in my lifetime?
Probably not.
